At Niños de Montaña, our medical brigades are more than just a doctor’s visit. We have designed a complete journey to restore health, dignity, and spirit for rural families in Honduras.
Here is how we transform a community space into a center of holistic care:

1. Registration and Spiritual Nourishment
The journey begins at our Registration desk. We prioritize the soul through Evangelization. Thanks to the Bible Society of Honduras, families receive the Word of God, prayers, and educational books to take home.
2. Clinical Assessment (Pre-Clinic)
Every patient moves to the Pre-Clinic area. Here, our volunteers record vital signs. This step ensures that the professional medical consultation is as effective as possible.
3. Dentistry: Restoring Smiles
This is one of our strongest and most vital areas. We provide professional dental care, including cleanings, extractions, and preventive treatments. In rural mountainous regions, access to a dentist is almost non-existent. This service restores both health and confidence to hundreds of patients.

4. Professional Medical Attention
Patients meet with specialized doctors for General Medicine consultations. We focus on preventive care and immediate treatment for the most common ailments affecting these vulnerable communities.
5. Provisions: Food and Clothing
Health is closely linked to nutrition and basic needs. After their consultation, families visit our Supplies area. Thanks to CEPUDO, Feed The Hungry Honduras, and Focus Central America Foundation, we distribute clothing and essential food items.
6. Pharmacy and Medication
At our Pharmacy, we deliver prescribed medications free of charge. These life-saving supplies are made possible by our strategic partners, including CEPUDO and Focus Central America Foundation.
7. Personal Care: A Final Touch of Dignity
To conclude the day, we offer a Personal Care station. Here, children and adults receive professional haircuts. This provides a boost of confidence and hygiene before they head back home.
