Niños de Montaña kicked off its 2026 activities with a successful medical brigade. It took place at the Episcopal Church El Buen Pastor in Jamastrán, El Paraíso.
Our goal for this first brigade is to reaffirm our commitment to the children and rural families of Honduras. We transformed the church facilities into a center for comprehensive care and hope. We achieved this thanks to the support of our volunteers and church members.
319 people attended in general medicine and 120 in dentistry
The impact of the day was very positive. Our team of medical professionals and volunteers helped 319 people. We provided general consultations, preventive diagnoses, and immediate treatment.
A key milestone of this brigade was our dentistry area. We provided complete care to 120 patients.
This specialized service is vital. Access to professional oral health is almost non-existent in mountainous areas. This intervention restores not only health but also the dignity of a healthy smile.

We achieved this by working with our allies. We thank Focus Central America Foundation, Feed The Hungry Honduras, CEPUDO, and the Bible Society of Honduras. They helped us mobilize essential resources to serve one of the most vulnerable rural communities in the country.
Niños de Montaña continues its mission to reach the most neglected areas. We do this through medical brigades and other development projects.
